We’re Outta Here!

The day is finally here. We left Tassie this morning, well technically this afternoon, on the first leg of our journey to South America. We were delivered to Launceston Airport by our fabulous friends/house sitters/managers Roger and Cecilia and then waved off by my (Rex) daughter #Kiri Tout who took an extended lunch break from her work to see us off.

We are currently sitting in a hotel room near Sydney Airport and will board the international flight to Santiago just before midday tomorrow. The next time you hear (read) from us we hope we will be in Chile, ready for anything. To all of you who are following this blog and the Facebook Group Beyondttassie.com we are thinking of you and we hope you enjoy reading of our travels. We have a tech nerd working on improving the appearance and functionality of the site but we aren’t paying him so I hope we get more than we pay for!
